Promote Your Website With Ease In Mind_70667

Promoting your website with the participant鈥檚 actions in mind will increase your click-through rate, your reputation, and your success.

Promoting your website with maximum usability in mind will increase your clicks and returns. Tests by the Nielsen Norman Group repeatedly demonstrated that a usability makeover can increase a website鈥檚 key performance indicators by 83%. Usability doesn鈥檛 stop with the initial development of your website 鈥?it continues into every facet of your website promotions. Your promotions will most likely have different landing pages, different link placement, text, graphics and other unique features. Your website鈥檚 landing page for your promotions will also contribute to your overall branding strategy. The collective placement and usability factors will determine whether the visitor clicks, doesn鈥檛 click, clicks and leaves or clicks and converts. The easier your website promotion flows, the more likely you鈥檒l turn clicks to conversions.

Your website promotion needs to be easy to see, recognize, locate, and understand. There must be perceived value. Your promotion should have a painless and easy to understand call to action to click. The click must bring your audience where they perceived they would go. Promotion participants must clearly understand your final call to action, and they must be able to participate quickly without undue hassle. Your promotion must flow seamlessly from the initial placement to the exit strategy.

Your promotion certainly won鈥檛 show any results if no one ever sees it. Search engine optimization and keyword optimization must be used in your search engine promotions or you鈥檒l never reach your audience. Keep in mind that Google also considers how many times users click through your website, and how many times users click off your website. If visitors to your website from your ad click to your website and leave 鈥?that will keep your ad lower in search engine results. The easier your landing page is to navigate 鈥?the higher the chances are that your website visitors will click through. The more they click through, the more credit Google gives your website 鈥?which could put you past your competitors without spending more money. Optimizing your landing page increases your participation rate and your Google status. That makes your promotional landing page a vital part of your website promotion.

Participation in a website promotion is almost always spontaneous. The participant will leave what they鈥檙e doing to see what the promotion is all about. They expect to go back to what they were doing. Your promotion is an interruption. It should be a good interruption and not a long one. If your landing page includes too much text, visitors might decide they don鈥檛 have the time to read it. If they don鈥檛 see anything about your company and who you are, they鈥檙e not going to trust you. As you probably know, too much flash and too many graphics are big no-nos for fast loading. If your audience has a job outside the home, and they鈥檙e taking a short (unofficial) break to participate in your promotion 鈥?they will immediately click out if there鈥檚 sound. Your landing page should tell them who you are, confirm what the promotion is about, and give a call to action. Your call to action should be short and sweet so they can go back to what they were doing. If they visit other pages in your website 鈥?they should always be able to navigate back to the landing page. And of course 鈥?make sure you thank them, confirm the transaction, and keep in touch.

To promote your website with ease in mind, you must consider that the participant is interrupting their life to visit your website. Every integrated factor, from eye contact to the confirming opt-in page, must be optimized for seamless usability. An easy to use website promotion will inspire more click-through and add to your customer base, your branding, and your reputation in the eyes of Google. Website usability affects website development and website promotions. Integrating optimized usability with all of your website promotions will optimize the success of your website.
