A Look At Online Business Applications_64071

Managing an online business could be tough. There are emails to send, letters to respond to, promos to advertise and even marketing strategies to develop. But no business owner or marketer should think that everything should be done on his own. In fact, there are a number of online business applications that make a lot of jobs easier for business owners and their marketers. Among them are autoresponder software and blog applications that may even come for free.

What autoresponders can do is basically to respond automatically. It lets businesses communicate to its existing customers and potential ones by sending them messages that have been pre-structured. The autoresponder is like an answering machine but they could do more complex jobs like send emails in intervals or assigned dates or schedules, as when a company decides to distribute monthly coupons or newsletters to its most loyal customers. Some free autoresponders are FreeAutoBot and SendFree, and some of the good ones which require monthly fees are GetResponse and Aweber.

These days, no business could live without a decent blog and in this department, Wordpress.com is probably the most popular. This online tool allows businesses to do a variety of things like posting articles, putting in pictures and putting fresh links. WordPress, when used well could look something like a decent online magazine where clients could go and check out information or news about the company they like. It also allows for interactivity because it has the options to let viewers or readers of the blog put in their comments. Type Pad and Movable Type are other blogging software that are comparable to WordPress. The good thing about this is that there's no exclusivity agreement with the use of these software, so you can basically use all three to work on your link building.

Mint, Clicky and Google Analytics meanwhile are online business applications that let you learn more about your website's metrics and what they stand for. These applications are useful tools for online marketers who are serious about increasing web traffic and getting more customers.

Social Networking Sites cannot be taken out of the picture too. Both Facebook and Twitter have a lot of members and the numbers are simply too great to ignore. Both applications are also free and one only needs to sign up to become a member of each. The key here is to get as many friends or connections as possible and make them interested to actually visit your official website. In addition, there is also an advertising PPC option available in Facebook which businesses could use for their various marketing purposes.

Crowd Science and Marketing Satisfaction are two other online business applications that could be used to gather more information about people who visit your website. What these applications do is basically take some kind of poll or survey in order to gather website visitor demographics. This information can then be used to make more effective advertising campaigns, especially if you are targeting a specific age group or people with similar demographics for your business.
